In the heart of Mexico City, amidst its vibrant hues and tantalizing aromas, a new dawn emerged in May 2020. A haven named La Frutería came to life, a beacon for those in pursuit of nature's finest bounties.

Picture walking into a store, where each fruit and vegetable doesn't just sit, but sings a song of its own – a tale of unparalleled freshness and quality. This was La Frutería's promise: a consistent symphony of nature's best, priced not just with competitiveness but with care, ensuring every hand that reached out for a fruit or vegetable left with nothing but the best.

But the magic of La Frutería didn't just reside within its walls. Its digital heartbeat, an app, became a bridge between homes and harvests. Day or night, rain or shine, customers could summon the essence of La Frutería at the touch of a button. And with a commitment to same-day delivery, every order wasn't just a transaction but a guarantee - of freshness, of quality, of La Frutería's unwavering pledge to its patrons.

Associate Project Manager

When I first stepped into the vibrant landscape of La Fruteria's app development in July 2020, the app was already a work in progress. As an Associate Project Manager, it was like being handed a puzzle with half the pieces already connected. My challenge was to understand the artistry of the engineering team, streamline the jigsaw's completion, and unveil it by January 2021. By discerning which pieces were essential and which were superfluous, we sculpted an MVP that was both efficient and user-centric.

Project Manager

As winter melted away, my dedication bore fruit. Stepping into the role of Project Manager, my canvas expanded. Every app update became a stroke of paint, and I meticulously sketched out a backlog—a roadmap for our journey ahead. Balancing the colors of priority, delegation, and resource management, I ensured our masterpiece stayed true to its vision.

Project Manager / UI & UX Designer

However, as time flowed, I sensed a disconnect between our app and its audience. Like an artist studying his artwork, I decided to immerse myself in the world of design. With an empathetic lens, I redesigned the user experience, ensuring it resonated with our users' aspirations. The transformation was like unveiling a renovated art piece, with users lauding its renewed charm and functionality.

Product Manager

Summer of 2021 was transformative. Guided by the wisdom of mentors from ADPList and the insights gleaned from forums like ProductCon , my horizons broadened, and I evolved into a Product Manager. Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders, our symphony became harmonious. By tuning into the KPIs and understanding our user's dance through the app, we didn't just engage; we flourished, enhancing both user experience and revenue.
